Eclectic Czech fashion designer Jan Cerny usually produces original pieces with his signature “where streetwear meets high fashion” style. The simple reason for this would be his past as a trainee at a well know UK fashion house Cottweiler.
But this time he co-founded a new Czech brand with an unusual partner - startup studio Point FM. One of the co-founders of the studio, Marek Kriz, was disappointed by today’s fashion world where “making a brand is often not about a craftsmanship as it was, but it is more about marketing and putting nice graphics on a promotional textiles” he said.
And that’s why Point FM cooperate with Jan who is one of the biggest names of European fashion industry and launched this brand based on craftsmanship and utilitarity.
They released two products this morning, t-shirt and socks and as Jan says “We made the products from A to Z, we sourced the fabrics in Czech factories and also developed the cut to be original and go along with the fabric which is the pique cotton usually used for more luxurious polo shirts”.
